What to wear
New students can wear joggers and an old top – just no zips to avoid injury. If you decide to continue, we recommend getting a black Gi (training uniform), which we can help you source.
The cost
We appreciate you may be unsure whether Mushin Jujitsu is right for you so your first 2 sessions free – come and try before you commit.Monthly membership is just £25 per month thereafter
We are a not-for-profit club. Our instructors do not get paid – every penny goes back into the club to cover insurance, equipment, and venue costs.


Instructors
The Friday night club is led by Tony Stacey, a 3rd-degree black belt in Mushin Jujitsu and 4th-degree black belt in self defence. Tony is supported by other experienced practitioners and benefits from visits by Steve Barker, founder and chief instructor of Mushin Ju Jitsu.

Do I need any previous experience?Not at all. We welcome complete beginners as well as those with previous martial arts experience.

What should I wear for my first class?Just wear comfortable clothing without zips (like joggers and an old top). Once you’re ready to commit, we suggest getting a black Gi – we can help you source one if needed.

What kind of martial art is this?Mushin Jujitsu is a blend of traditional Ju Jitsu and modern self defence. We train for real-life situations, not just competition.
